I waited to write this review because I wanted to give the business an opportunity to make things right, but unfortunately they failed to do so. After this experience, I will not be returning. The manager/owner (I’m not sure which title applies) has completely stopped responding to my messages and has dismissed my concerns. On July 22, 2026, I received a pedicure from a technician I had never been serviced by before. I typically go to CoCo, but I was told by the man managing the shop that she no longer worked there. During my appointment, the technician appeared uncomfortable performing the service and was extremely aggressive while working on my feet. I had to speak up multiple times because she was applying excessive pressure while pushing back my cuticles and performing other parts of the pedicure. My right big toe felt sore afterward, but there were no visible signs of an issue at the time, so I did not mention it. I still left a tip. Two days later, a discolored blister with drainage began forming on the area where my cuticles had been pushed back and clipped. I immediately went to Urgent Care, where I was evaluated and treated for a fungal infection and prescribed antibiotics. Before the salon opened that morning, I sent a message through their text line so it would be one of the first things seen. I did not receive a response, so I called. The manager stated, “Yes, I saw your message. What did you do to your toe?” Instead of expressing concern, he immediately shifted the blame toward me and told me he would call me back after finishing with a client. He did not follow up until 7:31 PM that evening, stating that he had spoken with the technician, who said there was nothing wrong with the service. He also said he did not have enough evidence to determine what caused the condition. He requested my Urgent Care documentation, which I provided. After sending that information, I never received another response. My last follow-up message was sent on Thursday, July 30, and I still have not heard back. My only request was a refund for the service I received. Instead, my concerns were ignored. If I do not receive a response and a reasonable resolution, I will need to escalate the matter. This is exactly what I hoped to avoid, but customers should not be treated this way—especially loyal customers who regularly support a business. Please consider taking your hard-earned money elsewhere. Businesses should be solution-focused and willing to stand behind the services they provide. It is disappointing that a business can be quick to ask about tips and encourage cash tipping, but cannot handle a legitimate customer concern with the same level of care and professionalism.
